Welcome to the future housing development in Plymouth, WI!

The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) is thrilled to announce a new housing project. A rezoning request for 32 acres kicks off this initiative, with SCEDC and the city collaborating to finalize the project's details in the coming months.

The 32-acre development will offer various single-family homes, with opportunities for third-party developers to add more housing options.

Construction is expected to start in late 2025 or early 2026.

This will be the third subdivision under the SCEDC Housing Initiative, funded by the Forward Fund, aimed at addressing the shortage of affordable entry-level homes—an obstacle to workforce development in the county.

Join us in transforming Sheboygan County's housing and supporting community growth!

The Forward Fund

Thanks to generous donations of $2 million each from Johnsonville, Kohler Co., Masters Gallery Foods, Inc., and Sargento, along with $2,000,000 in ARPA funds from Sheboygan County, the Forward Fund is well-equipped to drive this mission forward.

The SCEDC, a not-for-profit 501(c)(4), launched the Forward Fund, a community partnership to move Sheboygan County forward, to foster home ownership through community partnerships.
