Things to Do
At 209 acres, Random Lake is the second-largest in Sheboygan County and is buzzing with activity in every season: from tubing to ice fishing. It is the first lake north of Milwaukee making it a popular day-trip spot during the summer. Softball is big, with youth and adult teams playing throughout the spring and summer months. Most of the baseball/softball leagues are organized by the Random Lake Athletic Association. You won’t believe your eyes when you order a fish fry at Greg's Tap, a busy little bar that caters to hearty appetites.
The Heinen Hotel and Saloon, built in 1890, is now known as the Homefront Restaurant, which offers casual dining. Another place to grab a tasty sandwich or appetizer is Globe Lanes, a favorite spot for bowling leagues and family fun.
