About Plymouth Joint School District
In 2009, the Plymouth Joint School District established Pillars of Excellence, key principles that distinguish our district and advance our mission: To encourage everyone to become his/her personal best through successful learning experiences. These are:
- Academic Excellence for the 21st Century
- Extra-Curricular Activities
- Community Engagement
- Financial Responsibility
The District is small enough to have caring teachers who know the students and their families, provide evaluations of student soft skills, and have small, neighborhood elementary schools. However, the district is large enough to provide state-of-the-art hands-on research and applied opportunities for high school students, nearly 60 high school co-curricular activities and on-site child care before and after school.
