Supervises and coordinates activities of production employees in assigned areas. Ensures employees are completing their work assignments in compliance with food safety and personnel safety guidelines.
May supervise up to 15 Process Technicians and up to 50 Employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of area’s assigned. Also, can directly supervise up to 2 non-exempt employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required. Bachelor’s degree in operations, business, quality or related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in operations, production supervision, sanitation, quality, maintenance or related experience preferred.
